Goodal Moisture Barrier Cream Review

Here with another review of the Goodal Moisture Barrier Cream. (buy here) I actually had my cousin buy this product for me from Korea, so I don’t know how much it was, but the link was the cheapest price I could find online in the states. 

So I first heard about this product on the Korean beauty show “Get It Beauty,” when the Korean actress Jo Yeo Jung said she uses this. It states that it helps with dry skin and after 12 hours that there was 42% more moisture in the skin. 

When you open up the jar it comes with a spatula. *TIP: It is very important to use the included spatula for any jar products!:*

1. For hygienic purposes.

2. Usually when you put on lotion, I assume, most people wash their hands before using the product. There are still water molecule underneath your finger tips that can go inside of the product and make the product LESS effective.

3. Also, makeup products lose their potency when they go from COOL temperature to HOT temperature. 

So you should always use a spatula for any jar products. 

The texture is firm and waxy, but not necessarily “hard.” It breaks down easily from the warmth of your finger tips and feels nice on the skin. Also, my favorite thing about this product is the smell! It smells very fresh.

Before I give my general consensus I should note that I have VERY, EXTREMELY dry skin. So while this cream does give temporary relief, I can’t say that it lives up to its claim. And since it is a firmer texture cream, it really is a “barrier” and feels like it does not really sink into my skin. Because of that I only use a small amount if I use it in the morning, since it is a heavier cream. I don’t regret buying this product and I will use it up, but I will not be buying this again. I guess if you have a little normal skin (?) and not extremely dry skin like I do it might be a better match for you.
