Simple Micellar Cleansing Water Review

This is a review and demo of the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water (buy here)!

Simple is well known to be gentle for the clean.

Their tag line is, "Smile, it's Simple."

This particular cleansing water states that it "cleanses, removes makeup & hydrates" 

I love that it has no Harsh Chemicals, artificial perfume or dyes.

I usually only use this for when I have base makeup or sunscreen on, but I thought it might be fun to do a makeup removal test.

But please note that this particular micellar water does not claim to remove waterproof makeup, which I used.

On my arm is the Benefit erase paste, Maybelline gel waterproof liner, Tarte lipstick, and Maybelline Falsies waterproof mascara. 

After one wipe the remnants of all the makeup are still there. I was very gentle with it as if I were wiping my face to show how effective it is on the first wipe. 

The picture above is after about 6 wipes. 

The final picture is after 20 wipes. I did not want to go overboard because I don't think anyone would do more than 20 wipes on their face.

Overall, this micellar water is gentle enough for everyday use.

It is not so great on waterproof, heavy duty makeup, but on those days I usually use a cleansing oil so it does not matter. 

The Simple Micellar water is great for those days when you wear just base makeup or sunscreen and walk out of the door.

Since it is so gentle, it will be great as the last step of your cleansing routine or a lazy morning.

After wiping your face you do not need to rinse your face with water and even if you do not go straight into your skincare routine your skin does not feel taut!

It does everything that it claims to do, which a few makeup products really do, so I think this is worth a try for sensitive skins and any type of skin.

In my book this Micellar water is a 5 out of 5 stars product!
