Papa Recipe Bombee Honey Mask Review

Name: Papa Recipe Bombee Honey Mask Pack (sheet mask) 

What it does: Contains Propolis extract for hydration and restore moisture to the skin. 

How to use: Remove film and apply mask over cleansed face. Leave on for 20-30 minutes, then remove gently and tap with fingertips to absorb the residue. 

Fun fact: I remember hearing somewhere that this particular brand was started by a father. After seeing his daughter use cosmetic products with bad ingredients he wanted to make a cosmetic brand especially for his daughter and all the other girls out there with safer ingredients! Isn't that so sweet? Plus, it makes you feel safe and confident using a product that was made from love

The mask is so thin you can barely see it!

I mean, you can see where I didn't smooth it over properly, but seriously this is the thinest sheet mask I have every tried and it is amazing.

And now for the personal opinion part! I am very wary when I try new sunscreens or sheet masks because those seem to be the products that make my skin flip out the most if they don't match my skin. Alas, I had to try the Papa Recipe Mask because I know that a lot of people love it and it is made from Propolis extract. As soon as you open up the packet your'e nose is going to get a whiff of the sweet honey smell! If you don't like fragrances it may be a little bit much, but honestly it just smells like you opened up a jar of honey. I tried this mask out two days in a row, and the second time the smell seemed to be stronger (I don't know why.) The actual sheet mask is SUPER THIN. It literally feels like you are putting on a second layer of skin. Since it is so thing the mask comes with a film that you just have to peel off, so it makes opening up the sheet mask itself very easy. The fit of the mask isn't perfect, but it is not atrocious by any means. The nose is a little too long so you have to fold it unless you want to be suffocated by a sheet mask. Other than that, this stuff is PACKED with essence. Omg. I can drench my body with the essence that this mask comes with! I don't leave on my sheet masks for more than 15 mins, but with this I can easily to 20-25 minutes and the mask is still moist. I then put it on my neck for 5 minutes and rub the mask to the rest of my body. I squeeze out the essence inside the packet (PLENTY) and do two more layers on my skin. My skin feels extremely hydrated! Since I do this I found out today that it is not good for putting under makeup. If you use it in the morning just do the mask and save the essence in the packet for later or something. It is sticky at first, but if you continue to pat it into your skin it gives a nice finish! My skin felt so hydrated and the smell dissipates, but there is still a sweet smell that hits... I am totally in love with this and it has replaced my Hyaluronic mask for sure.
