J.ONE Jelly Pack Review

Hello Beauties!

I am back with the review of the famous Ha Ji Won Jelly Pack! (buy here)

If you don't know who Ha Ji Won is, she is a famous South Korean actress who has been in a lot of hit k-dramas and movies!

So she first introduced this innovative Jelly Pack on one of my favorite Korean beauty shows called Get It Beauty.

It was so different and her skin is EXTREMELY beautiful so I had to get my hands on it.

Before I repurchased it, my cousin got me the 30 mL one from Korea.

So, yes, the 50 mL one is my second bottle of this!

I love the sleek and simple packaging and it states what the product is supposed to do right on the bottle.

When Ha Ji Won came on the show she described it as it being like a "corset" for her face.

Talk about major marketing skills, no?

Who doesn't want more lifted, firmed and poreless skin?

So the main ingredients in this product are: Hylauron, which helps restore the moisture to the skin- Radical Trap, which is supposed to help fight off sun damage so no more sun spots! - and herb extracts for a calming effect.

How to use: After cleansing and toning at night, dispense an appropriate amount of the jelly pack and massage it all over the face and neck for 1 to 2 minutes. Wait until it gets fully absorbed by the skin then get your beauty sleep. Wash it off the next morning.

They were not lying when they said this is a jelly pack. 

When you dispense the product you can already tell by looking at the picture that it really has a gelatinous texture to it.

Just for emphasis I put some in between my fingers and you can tell it is not your typical cream, lotion of serum!

When Ha Ji Won came out on Get It Beauty she had a very unique method of putting this product on. She pumped at least 4 pumps onto the back of her hand and she used her four fingers to tap it and then tap it into her skin.

I tried that way, but it was SO messy.

If you can tell by the picture above it is really so gelatinous that if you use that method too much of the product gets absorbed by your hand as well.

If you spread the product out with your finger the most interesting thing happens!

The product actually seems to have some reaction with the warmth of your skin to bring up water molecules! 

The picture above looks like I have water on my skin, no?

This is the end product where I have patted the Jelly Pack into my skin a few times.
You have to pat it into your skin for a while for it to fully absorb. The directions say to massage it but I find that it pulls too much on my skin, which I do not like.

My feelings about the product: Let me tell you straight off the bat... This product is tacky and sticky, but it is not a bad feeling kind of sticky? Not like you spilt some sugary drink all over your hands kind of sticky though. Also, the smell is not so great.
I don't necessarily know how to describe it, but it is not the best smelling face product out there.
After using this for a month and repurchasing it I can't really say I am in love with it, but it acts as a nice sleeping mask if you are into sleeping masks. It is just convenient because you don't have to wash it off right away and you can sleep with it on. The "corset" feeling (I feel) is more temporary than long lasting because the jelly seems to seep into your pores and just bring everything together. It helps slightly with the enlarged pores around my nose the next day. I have yet to try this product in the morning under my makeup because the absorption time takes a little too long for my busy mornings. 
If you feel your pores need a boost and tighten up then this product is a nice product to try.
Everybody's skin is so different so I am quite hesitant to say, "Try this Product!" and somebody out there isn't satisfied with the result. :(
